Based on Colson Whitehead’s Pulitzer Prize winning novel, NICKEL BOYS tells the story of a powerful friendship that develops between two young African-American men as they navigate the harrowing trials of reform school together. The film received two Academy Award nominations for Best Picture and Best Adapted Screenplay.

Rated PG-13 for thematic material involving racism, some strong language including racial slurs, and violent content. Running time: 2 hours, 20 minutes.
