The Footcandle Film Society will be screening the film LUCE on Wednesday, October 9th and Thursday, October 10th at the Carolina Theater in Downtown Hickory. The showtime is 7:00pm on both evenings.
The screening is free to all current Footcandle Film Society members. All available seats will be sold to the public for $5.00 a ticket starting at 6:50pm, space permitting.
About the film: (Drama) A married couple is forced to reckon with their idealized image of their son, adopted from war-torn Eritrea, after an alarming discovery by a devoted high school teacher threatens his status as an all-star student. The film, based on a play by J.C. Lee, stars Naomi Watts, Octavia Spencer, and Tim Roth and is directed by Julius Onah.
NOTE: This film is rated R for language throughout, sexual content, nudity and some drug use.
