Have you been wondering what made "A Separation" worthy of winning the 2012 Academy Award for Best Foreign Film?  Well put an end to your sleepless nights and come find out April 12th when Footcandle Film Society hosts a screening at 7pm in the downstairs auditorium of the Carolina Theater. Afterwards we'll stick around and discuss what we thought of the film. 

Film Summary: From Iranian writer/director Asghar Farhadi comes a story of a married couple faced with a difficult decision - to improve the life of their child by moving to another country or to stay in Iran and look after a deteriorating parent who has Alzheimer's disease.  Footcandle is proud to be partnering with the Hickory International Council for this event.
